 What to bring?

The sun just came out for a few days and turned the weather!  So even if "warm and sunny" is a long way away, people are starting to shop for early spring.  Lighter colors, strappier clothing, great sweaters and still boots are great.

We have been selling high end jeans and super cute tops, belts and jewelry.  Handbags have slowed way down, but little interior purse things are good.

So you have clothes that you don't wear and you want to
know what to do with them. Why not make a little money?
Here are the most common questions:

Does anybody want it? Could be, we look for clothing from
the mid 1800's to the late 1980's and ALSO for clothing from
the last 3 years.  Right now we are looking at adult and children's halloween.

Does the season matter? Yes! Unless your items are 1930's
or earlier we accept items slightly in advance of the season.
We have a 3 month consignment period, so imagine us trying
to sell your items within 3 months.

What about the condition? For current clothing or anything
that can be machine laundered we ask you to launder your
items. For vintage items that have to be dry cleaned just bring
them "asis" and we will tell you if we would take them before you
invest in dry cleaning.  Condition can be less on Hallween things as long as you are willing to let them sell cheaply.

Is there a limit or cost to consigning? No. We will look at 1 item or a carload of them. There is no cost to set up an account, so bring it on!

How does it work? Easy! Bring your things in during store hours and we say yes or no. You fill out the contract and we make a list of the things we are taking. You get a copy of the list and a copy of the contract. Just call or come in during your 3 month consignment period to ask if we owe you money (you get 40% of the selling price)  then come in and pick up a check for the sold items.  It is best if you can call before coming in to make sure that a check can be on hand. Pick up your unsold items at the end of the consignment period if you choose to.

Like we said...EASY!
